Graduation! YES!

Finally, I have made it to this day, even though it's tomorrow. I as beginning to type this post, I started to remember all the memories that I have made at Wasson High School and in the Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.. I'm going to miss all my Friends that I have made over the years. Thank you, for helping me get to this day. You have helped me through the good and bad times in my life. You have raised me up on to my feet when I was on my knees. To my teachers, you have helped me become a smarter person than I was before. You gave knowledge that has helped me get through these years. To the NJROTC Corps. of Cadets, Instructors, and Volunteers, because of your friendship to me, you have made come from a shy kid, to a great man that people will like to know and trust. Thank my family (which includes some, if not most, of my friends) for pulling me through the storms of life to make on the other side, and for loving even when I royally screwed up. Thank any one and every one for helping me get to where I am today. Thank you. See you on the other side of the mountain.

AMI Completed, Graduation Next

AMI stands for Annual Military Inspection. This when the whole unit, in this case a Company, is inspected by an active duty officer. The unit passed inspection. Now as graduation is coming near, I look back into the past four years that I attended Roy J. Wasson High School and take in all the memories that I have collected that I have looked upon to give me a fire to keep me going. Now I begin to count the days down till I graduate from high school, and begin a new count down to when I leave for US Navy boot camp. Wish me luck.

Only a couple more months to go

Before I start going into what has been happening to me, I wish to apologize for not being on top of my blog. There has been crap load of events and meeting going on I haven't been able to get on. So lets get started. The school year is almost over, just a couple more months to go. Wasson High School NJROTC Cadet Ball went really well. I was promoted at the beginning of 2nd semester to Executive Officer and I'm still the CIT Officer. I am so ready to go, but there is a part of me that doesn't want to leave. I know I'm ready to go. I'm just leaving a whole lot behind that I may never see again. At least I'll remember what I know, love, care about. Soon enough I'm going to be gone and it will be a while before I ever come back. I'm happy to start a new chapter in my life, but its also a sad moment because of what and the people I'm leaving behind. I guess it's one of those phases in life where you have to push onward through all the sadness and tears. Oh well, I still have some time left before I go.

A New Year. A New Chapter.

As I reflect on 2010, I wounder if I made the right choice to join the Navy. At the time it seemed right to me and still does. I keep telling my self that I will have to let it unfold in front of me as time goes on. I still believe it was and is the right choice for me and my family. I only hope that I will get the best from it. I resume school in two days to finish the last FIVE months of school, and also SIX months till i ship to Basic. I wish to give every one an late Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. Can't wait to see what lies ahead of me. GO NAVY!

Almost there

Finally, the medical records are here. It's about time. Got my senior photo done. Looking at jobs for the Army. Narrowed it all done to five that I like: Computer System Repairer, Geospatial Engineer, Infantry, Wheeled Mechanic, & Calvary Scout. Having a hard time sorting out which one to do first. Also, looking at possible first duty station. Go to fly.  :)
